TREASURER’S REPORT:
CurrentTroop Net Worth: $2,176.26 (this includes concessions through October, but none
for November).
CurrentScout Net Worth: $523.72
(this does not include any popcorn money)
We reviewed
expected income and expenses for 2003.
After a lengthy discussion on that issue, Marty Robertson made a motion
to change the split for concession monies received from 50% to the Scout and
50% to the Troop to 70% to the Scout and 30% to the Troop to begin with monies
earned after January 1, 2003. Dave
Mader seconded the motion, passed unanimously.
This policy will be reviewed again in August of 2003.
2003 CALENDAR:
We reviewed highlights and set meeting dates for
2003. A complete list of dates, times
and who should attend meetings will be posted on the Troop website.
WINTER CAMPOUT:
The date for the winter campout is set for January
17th and January 18th.
We will try to rent Arrow and the Adirondacks for the weekend. NOTE: After this meeting, there was nothing
available for the weekend to rent in the entire camp. THE WEEKEND HAS BEEN CHANGED TO FEBRUARY 14, 15 & 16.
CLASS B TEE
SHIRTS:
Jeff Engel
showed a proof the tee shirts. These
will be $10.00 each, all orders will be in adult sizes, no child sizes will be
available. He will be sending out an
e-mail on ordering these. We are asked
to respond promptly to Jeff with the number of shirts you want, the sizes and
the method of payment (you can either take it out of the scout’s account or pay
by check).
This list of
orders will be reviewed at the January parents meeting.
HIGH ADVENTURE:
Marty Robertson talked about a high adventure for
2004 to the Washington DC/Gettysburg area.
He asked for input from the Troop to see if it is something the boys
would like to do before he gets more information on the subject. Some of the specifics are:
·
It would be for 1st
class and above
·
It would be a two week trip
·
It includes a 50 mile hike (WV
& PA)
·
We would do the first two weeks in
June
