In the past, the Troop has paid for camping fees for all new Webelos  coming to the camporee for the first time.  After a discussion, Dave Mader made the motion that we will pay the fees for the new Webelos again this year, even though the number of Webelos and adults attending is higher than previous years.  Doug seconded, all approved.

C.O.R:

·        There is a new Church directive that all adults working with children need to attend Youth Protection Training.  This is 3 hours of training that every committee member is required to take.   The Church is offering several dates for this training.  He will keep us updated on dates so that we can meet this requirement.

·        We talked about Venture Troops.  This has a place in youth ministry.  He will look into getting one started in this troop.

·        Update on the Jamboree:  They have filled up 4 troops and have applied for a 5th troop.  All but 2 slots are filled.  Applications are available if you are still interested.
