FINANCIAL REPORT:
Jackie reviewed the financial report. Attached is a copy of that report.
She questioned our policy on boys accounts that contain a negative account After a discussion, it was decided that for the present time, we would keep the boys informed as to what their current balance. We will ask them to try not to let their balances fall below zero, but if they happen to fall below zero, to try to get them back in the positive in a short amount of time. Jackie will let us know if there begins to be a problem with accounts falling below zero.
Also, Joyce will try to get a list together that will give the boys an idea of what different activities cost and approximate money they can make through fund raisers and working at the dome.
SUMMER CAMP:
· We will be taking the trailer
· Dave Mader will drive it up on Saturday
· Plan on meeting on Friday night at 7:00 at the parish center to load up your things
· We are covered for adults to stay at camp so any parents that want t come up during the week can do so whenever it is convenient for them. The rules may have changed as far as checking into camp (the cub scout camp required visitors to wear wrist bands). Tom will check into the requirements and let us know.
· The ceremony for tapping out for the Order of the Arrow is Tuesday night
The following adults can provide transportation up for scouts:
Tom (truck)
Dennis (blazer)
Mary (van)
Dave (truck)
Doug (jeep)
Prerequisites:
Doug can sign off on prerequisites while at camp, so any scout that has their prerequisites done should show them to Doug so he can get them signed off. Be sure to remember to bring your scout book so he can also sign off on your book.
TRAILOR UPDATE:
The fenders and rock guard are on
Trim work and re-sheet the door still needs to be done. Tom thought that might be something the adults can do at summer camp.
TROOP 370 POLICY MANUAL:
Tom reviewed the new Troop 370 policy manual with everyone. He will hand one of these out to all scouts in August as soon as they are done. One will also be given to any new scout that comes into the Troop.
