T-SHIRT ORDER:
We were reminded that if we want one of the new
tee shirts, to please let Jeff Engel know as soon as possible.
SCOUT SUNDAY:
Karen Robertson needs volunteers to sign up for
coffee and donuts after each of the masses.
She will ask the boys to sign up at the meeting tonight.
MERIT BADGE
UNIVERSITY:
Doug still
needs another adult to go the university with him that day. He will not be able to attend for some of
the afternoon and there needs to be someone there at all times. Also, this year they are furnishing lunch
for any scout that wants to sign up.
The cost will be around $4.00 - $5.00.
This will include pizza, pop and a cookie. Hopefully this will eliminate the congestion we had last year
during lunch time. Brian will ask the
boys who would like to sign up for this lunch at the meeting tonight.
WINTER CAMPOUT:
We reviewed specifics for the winter campout. There are about 4 Webelos that will be
attending the campout on Friday night.
It would be a good time to work on knots with them. Some of the activities that we will be doing
are sledding, night hikes, and outdoor football. There will be several scouts and parents that are going to try
for their red flannel that night.
NEW SCOUTS
JOINING THE TROOP:
After a
discussion regarding the new Webelos coming into the Troop, it was decided that
we will mix them in with the Timberwolves and Trailblazers and assign one of
the older boys as a Troop Guide
SUMMER CAMP AND
HIGH ADVENTURE:
Summer camp
will be July 13th through July 19th. A $25.00 deposit is required tonight to hold
our spot. This was very close to the
dates that were picked for the high adventure.
After a discussion, it was decided not to move summer camp, but to
change the high adventure to either 6/27/03 to 7/1/03, or, 7/5/03 to
7/9/03. We can not make reservations
more that two weeks before we go.
You can find
the web site by going to “google.com” and then typing in “Isle Royale National
Park”.
